Methodology

Each chart lists its platform or source, territory, reporting period and publication time. Platform rankings (for example, a streaming service’s South Africa chart) are published separately from the SA Chart Pulse points ranking. A South African territory chart can include international artists.

Movement compares an edition with the previous published edition of the same chart. Entries are marked up, down, unchanged, new, re-entry, or “—” when no comparable edition exists. Cumulative figures such as total points or weeks at No. 1 are calculated only from sufficient chart history on Musimela; otherwise they are labelled as partner-supplied, with their source and as-of date.
